<\/div>You will play a key role in designing and building the semantic foundations of a large -scale, data -driven platform that supports operational processes, automation, and AI -driven use cases in a highly regulated environment.

<\/div>The Ontology Engineer<\/b> will be responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining ontologies and semantic models that power an Enterprise Knowledge Graph focused on operational domains (services, processes, systems, and data).

<\/div>This is a foundational role, involving close collaboration with business stakeholders, data platforms, automation teams, and AI initiatives to ensure shared meaning, consistency, and scalability across systems.

<\/div>Main Responsibilities<\/u>
<\/div>
- Design and develop enterprise ontologies representing operational domains such as services, processes, workflows, tasks, and system interactions
<\/span><\/li> - Translate complex business concepts into scalable semantic and ontology -based models
<\/span><\/li> - Define and maintain RDF/OWL schemas and semantic standards
<\/span><\/li> - Implement and manage ontologies within a Knowledge Graph platform (e.g. Stardog or similar)
<\/span><\/li> - Support ingestion and semantic enrichment of structured and unstructured operational data
<\/span><\/li> - Collaborate with automation, data, and AI teams to embed semantics into workflows and solutions
<\/span><\/li> - Establish and maintain a shared operational vocabulary across teams and systems
<\/span><\/li> - Contribute to ontology governance, versioning, documentation, and best practices
<\/span><\/li> - Ensure alignment with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements typical of pharma environments

Requirements<\/h3>- Proven experience in ontology engineering and knowledge graph design
<\/span><\/li> - Strong hands -on knowledge of RDF, OWL, and SPARQL
<\/span><\/li> - Experience working with knowledge graph platforms (Stardog or equivalent)
<\/span><\/li> - Ability to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders
<\/span><\/li> - Experience in regulated environments (pharma, healthcare, life sciences, finance, etc.)
<\/span><\/li> - Familiarity with data platforms, APIs, and enterprise systems
<\/span><\/li> - Self -starter mindset, comfortable working in ambiguous and evolving contexts
<\/span><\/li> - Strong communication skills and ability to explain semantic concepts clearly

<\/span><\/div>- Experience supporting AI/ML or automation use cases with knowledge graphs
